Summer 2026: The return of the Moncton Buskers Festival

Downtown Moncton – Tuesday, July 7th, 2026

Downtown Moncton Centre-ville Inc. (DMCI) is excited to welcome residents and visitors back to Riverfront Park for the 2026 Moncton Buskers Festival, presented by the Downtown Moncton Crowne Plaza and Baton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar, taking place July 24–26. Hosted in partnership with the City of Moncton, this free, family-friendly festival transforms downtown Moncton into a vibrant outdoor stage featuring world-class street performers, live local music, artisan vendors, delicious food and interactive entertainment for all ages.

Festival hours are:

  • Friday, July 24 – Official Kickoff Ceremony at 11:45 a.m., festival programming from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 2512:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 2611:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This year’s festival features five outstanding buskers, each bringing their own unique style of comedy, circus arts and interactive entertainment.

Joey Albert – An award-winning circus performer from Ottawa, Joey combines comedy, juggling and acrobatics into an energetic, family-friendly show packed with laughs and incredible skill.

The Pink Show – Stef and Eric deliver a high-energy street spectacle featuring breathtaking acrobatics, precision juggling, fire stunts and nonstop comedy in a thrilling three-act performance.

Mighty Quinn – Having entertained audiences in more than 15 countries, Mighty Quinn is known for his incredible 10-foot unicycle, juggling, comedy and inspiring performances that leave audiences cheering.

Riki Ferrari – Known as the “Super Sexy Danger Boy,” Riki Ferrari blends comedy with daring circus skills, knife juggling and an unforgettable grand finale unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Lift! The Show – A spectacular contemporary circus performance featuring aerial silks, Cyr wheel, daring acrobatics and fiery juggling that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

Before the buskers take the stage each day, festival-goers will enjoy performances showcasing some of the incredible talent found right here in our region.

Friday, July 24 – 12:00 p.m.
Dahlia Ave will kick off the festival with a fresh blend of Old Time, Celtic and Acadian music. This New Brunswick-based four-piece traditional folk band brings exceptional musicianship and international touring experience to the festival stage.

Saturday, July 25 – 12:00 p.m.
Baton Atlantik has been inspiring audiences in Greater Moncton for more than 40 years. Their talented baton twirlers have competed at the provincial, national and world levels, bringing precision, athleticism and an exciting performance to the Moncton Buskers Festival.

Sunday, July 26 – 11:00 a.m.
The Capitol Theatre Summer Camp Performance Group opens the final day of the festival with a showcase celebrating the next generation of local performers.

Celebrate the launch of Accent! Live – New this year, festival-goers can also experience the launch of Accent! Live, an exciting extension of Downtown Moncton’s Accent! public art program. Throughout the weekend, local artists will create live art installations on-site, giving visitors the opportunity to watch creativity unfold in real time while adding another interactive experience to the festival.

In addition to world-class entertainment, visitors can explore artisan vendors, enjoy local food vendors, discover downtown businesses and experience one of Moncton’s signature summer events along the beautiful Riverfront Park.
