This will be your opportunity as a downtown stakeholder to discover DMCI’s new Board of Directors, to hear a recap of the past year, and to hear some of DMCI’s future plans as we emerge from the pandemic.

Special Presentation by Ken Kelly, Project Manager for the International Downtown Association in Canada titled ”RETROSPECTIVE TO RECOVERY”.



Please join Ken Kelly, the former manager of DMCI [2000-2004] as he looks back on what was important for Downtown Moncton at the ‘turn of the century’ and what he now believes will be important in COVID recovery.

As an urban planner, Ken’s career has spanned all of Canada and has been focused on the creation and revitalization of heritage districts, development of sustainable communities, and the animation and growth of downtowns. After retiring as the Manager of Downtown Victoria, he has now become Project Manager for the International Downtown Association, focused on bringing over 500 BIAs together as a stronger, united voice with all three levels of government. Ken is a graduate of UBC and Queen’s and an Honourary Citizen of Winnipeg.
