INVITATION – Join us for a captivating evening of music and poetry on Friday, June 20, 2025, featuring the acclaimed woodwind quintet Ventus Machina, celebrated soprano Christina Haldane, and renowned Halifax composer Jérôme Blais.
The evening will highlight six movements from Blais’ evocative project mouvance, with the words of Gérald Leblanc, Herménégilde Chiasson, Gabriel Robichaud and Serge Patrice Thibodeau. The event will also feature live readings by poets Jo-Anne Elder and Jean-Philippe Raîche.
This unique performance blends contemporary classical music with Acadian literary heritage, creating a powerful and immersive experience.
