Of the many new developments in downtown Moncton, you have without a doubt noticed the spectacular building that is FiveFive. Located at 55 Queen Street, it houses a vast array of businesses and services.
I had the pleasure of learning all about FiveFive Queen and how it adds a whole new style to downtown Moncton by meeting with Martine Godbout. Martine works for Colliers International in the commercial sales & leasing division. Originally from Grand Falls, NB, she moved to Moncton about 20 years ago and has loved it ever since her arrival.

FiveFive Queen is no exception to some of the many great things there are to do in downtown Moncton. Here is a quick breakdown of the building and all that it encompasses:
- The first floor – Canvas Hotel lobby, Bar55, Gahan House Hub City, and Expérience by ANBL
- From the second to the fourth floor – Canvas Hotel rooms
- The fifth floor – Condos for lease
- From the sixth to the eighth floor – Condos for sale
The Canvas Hotel, a Hilton Tapestry branded hotel, has 97 rooms as well as meeting rooms, a fitness centre and on-site parking. Select rooms are also pet friendly, which is a wonderful touch given the challenge of finding accommodations when you are travelling with a pet.
Whether you are staying at the hotel or not, you can still enjoy drinks and food at Bar55, which is open from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. You can also wine and dine at Gahan House Hub City, a great restaurant with craft beers. This microbrewery, first opened in PEI, and is open at its FiveFive Queen location from Sunday to Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. – 12 a.m., and Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. – 1 a.m.
For a unique experience (no pun intended!), you should most definitely visit Expérience, a boutique wine store on the first floor of FiveFive Queen. This is the first of its kind in New Brunswick. Expérience offers wine and spirits, some of which are exclusive to this store. You can learn more about Expérience on the ANBL website.
