This summer, Accent! wants to highlight local community members and their artwork by creating displays in some unlikely spaces around downtown. By utilizing windows and storefronts that are currently empty or under construction, we aim to brighten up our walking spaces and provide more reasons for everyone to explore downtown. Several buildings across the downtown area have already been identified, and more are coming!

If you would like to have your art featured, we are looking for a variety of sizes that you can select from to submit. All artwork will be digitally reproduced and printed for installation. You can choose work you’ve already created that you’d love to share with the community or create something new. We hope to feature a wide range of ages and skill levels so that everyone is included in this celebration of colour. 

Submissions are open until Aug 12th, 2024, and selected artists will be notified before printing.  

When deciding what to submit, please consider the following: 

• Images should:

  • be bright and bold.
  • be original creative works.
  • celebrate summer or Moncton’s downtown.
  • be submitted in as high resolution as possible.

• Images may not:

  • include text.
  • reuse or rework copyrighted work.
  • be religious or political in nature.
  • be derogatory in any way towards anyone.
