Summer 2024: The return of the Moncton Buskers Festival and Patio Fest presented by Downtown Moncton Centre-ville Inc.

Downtown Moncton Centre-ville Inc. (DMCI) is proud to announce its second annual Moncton Buskers Festival and third annual Patio Fest for the 2024 summer season.
The Moncton Buskers Festival will be held July 12th to 14th. Circus performers, a strong man, a magician, and more will be performing in downtown Moncton’s Riverfront Park. This family friendly festival is presented in partnership with the City of Moncton.
“This free admission, family focused performing arts festivals will add life to the downtown in addition to the already exciting summer activities planned,” says Patrick Richard, Executive Director of DMCI. “Given the rousing success of our inaugural festival last summer, we are confident this summer’s event will be even bigger as we are surrounded by devoted Monctonians who are committed to seeing their downtown thrive.”
DMCI is proud to announce this year’s lineup of buskers. Returning again from last year is fan favourite, The Street Circus. They will be joined by Magic Brian, Mighty Mike, Cate Great and Pogo Fred. There will also be a host of performances by local artists to be announced at a later date.
Patio Fest, currently in its third year, is planned for each Thursday evening from 6-8pm (with the exception of Thursday, August 15th which will be held on Tuesday, August 13th instead), from June 6th to August 29th. The event features local musicians performing on a different patio throughout Downtown Moncton each week.
