47th Annual General Meeting
Moncton – Tuesday, May 14th, 2024
In a joint statement by President, Jacques Allain and Executive Director, Patrick Richard, community spirit was at the heart of DMCI’s accomplishments in 2023. “In 2023, our downtown regained its title as the hub of activity and connection for the region. Whether through festivals, Wildcats games, shows at the Capitol Theatre, drinks on the patio, outdoor gatherings, or collaborative initiatives, we’ve come together as a community to support one another and celebrate all that the downtown has to offer.”
“Looking ahead, we’re excited to build on the momentum of 2023 and continue our journey of growth and revitalization. As a community, we undoubtedly have some social issues and complex problems to deal with, but with new projects, a new strategic plan on the horizon and a renewed sense of optimism, the future of Downtown Moncton looks brighter than ever.”
DMCI’s 2023 Audited Financial Statements were presented by THIEL GREENE Chartered Professional Accountants and ratified by the members in attendance. THIEL GREENE were re-appointed as auditors for 2024 and the presentation of the new Board of Directors took place. Following the adjournment of the Annual General Meeting, a first look at DMCI’s new Strategic Plan for 2024 through 2027 was presented.
