Street closures due to construction

Street reconstruction on Lewis Street – Between Main Street and Queen Street

 The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public that Lewis Street, between Main Street and Queen Street, will be closed to through traffic beginning on Thursday, June 15th until the end of July, weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow the reconstruction of Lewis Street. Detours will be in place and delays are to be expected in the area as traffic will be slowed.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents and the motoring public.

Road closure on Victoria Street – Between Robinson Street and Church Street

The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public that Victoria Street, between Robinson Street and Church Street, will be closed to through traffic from 5 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28 until 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow for the replacement of the Canadian National (CN) railway crossing. Detours will be in place and delays are to be expected in the area as traffic will be slowed.
